Hi Folks,
I am interested in giving an amount of money to someone or some-peoples
to develop a 'cite as you write' plugin for Abiword that utilises
Zotero[1] as the bibliographic database.
It would work basically like the existing OOo/LibreOffice plugin[2]
(i.e. you can add references in the various styles, Zotero will keep
track of them, and thus make sure they all look correct, and you can
have a list of references, etc.).
There is a thread currently existing at the Zotero forums[3] and it has
come up a few times in Abiword space (e.g.[4][5]) as well.
How much money is up for negotiation, though I suspect I am not able to
offer enough to pay for the full cost. Someone on the Zotero forums
suggested a Kickstarter like thing. Which would also solve the problem
of how to get the money to the developer/s.
Further details to be decided later.
