AbiWord v2.8.3 Released
AbiWord 2.8 is a multi-platform, collaborative word processor that
combines state-of-the-art usability, powerful features, and excellent
interoperability. Furthermore, it features a powerful framework for
supporting custom extensions. AbiWord v2.8.3 is the latest stable
release, which compared to v2.8.2 contains a small number of important
bugfixes.
This release includes the following changes (and more!):
* Fix random crashes mostly observed on Linux/Unix platforms coupled
with PulseAudio (it's not Pulse's fault!)
* Add tabstop/tableader/tab default interval support to the
OpenDocument import/export filters
* Support opening password protected OpenDocument files
