Hi,
so i was hacking on an abiwidget for some time (as most of you in
#abiword prolly know already). Today the first document loaded and
displayed! Yippee! Therefore I thought this might be a good moment for
sharing. Well, the whole thing is still very crude (including asserts)
and doesn't really have much of an API.
However, a screenshot can be seen here:
http://www.abisource.org/~rob/tmp/abiwidget.png
At the moment it's implemented as a plugin (in tests/abiwidget/), but
with some auto-FU it might be possible to build the main codebase as a
shared library for standalone use.
Thanks to the #abifolks for help.
Enjoy!
- Rob
PS: if you'd like to look at the thing you have to uncomment
AbiWidgetPlugin_addToMenus();
AbiWidgetPlugin_removeFromMenus();
in AbiWidgetPlugin.cpp, otherwise it doesn't add menu entries.
