I would use TortoiseCVS ( tortoisecvs.sf.net ) on Windows, due to ease
of use. The sourcecode you downloaded should contain information (in
the /abi/doc/build/ directory and similar) regarding how to "check out"
the AbiWord source code from CVS. In order to run code from CVS, you
will have to compile it using MS Visual C++ or MingW - the instructions
are in the source code directory above.
