You seem to be misguided. That's a royalty- and copyright-free stock
image of a fountain pen. :)
I honestly don't know how many people anymore would analyze a fountain
pen in a splash screen so carefully... it seems to be a dying art.
If you want, I could try with an image from someone, but as I lack both
a good digital camera and a good fountain pen, I can't really change
that much.
I'll get a 2.0 version if you want, but I wonder if maybe we should save
it, since 2.2 won't have a huge amount of "immediately visible" changes,
except for new icons and splash screen...
