Hi, I can't speak for the deb spec, but in the rpm spec I _never_ specify that the filename should be that. I'm only supporting that filename. It was discussed a long time ago, that the binary should be called abiword-2.0 and all the shared stuff should also be -2.0 so that people could easily have both versions installed.
