This may be off point, but:

Does a bitmap (say 20x20) use 20x20 pixels regardless of screen resolution?

If so, should we have in mind a target screen resolution for AbiWord?

What is the assumed / target screen resolution for the AbiWord church
secretary? (I use an 800x600 screen, my wife, who is a church secretary,
uses 640x480 at home, she says the screen appears the same at work (i.e.,
like her 640x480 screen at home, not my 800x600 screen).)

Aside: When I run recent versions of AbiWord (1.9.0) on my 800x600 Linux
screen, the menu fonts are very small -- guess I have to look into how to
change those -- maybe it's covered in the FAQ.
