Overall, within my limited understanding, your entire post sounds like a
good analysis and proposal. (And I like "Word style" display of
revisions, e.g., deletions shown in strike through.)
I would like confirmation that the limitation on unmarking a deletion is
only in a special "revisions mode" -- this does not disable "undo" in
other modes?
