As far as I'm concerned, grab away. I'm mainly concerned with user 
documentation, and this is more developer documentation. I'll try to 
integrate the various kinds of documentation when they're done, but feel 
free to write developer docs without consulting me -- I wouldn't have much 
of use to say, anyway.
I would prefer people writing user docs to get in touch first, largely 
because, without looking very carefully through CVS, it isn't clear what's 
been done and what's wanted, and I'd hate to have people waste their time.
