RH 7.2 default compiler is gcc 2.96
I have it and none of that happens.
However, those errors you report, are usually associated with hardware
problems (faulty memory, perhaps).
Now, what compiler did you use? gcc 2.96 (and the hardware problems is a
strong probability) or gcc 3.x (I don't think we support it yet (aka our
c++ is not so standard as it should be)
